Second visit to Rosie

Sophia loved holding the tarantula so much last year when we were in Denver for a dollhouse show that we decided we had to visit again this year. The only problem was that her hands were too cold and the spider wouldn't stay with her. While I was holding it, the lady handler informed me that tarantulas aren't spiders, which was news to me, and Wikipedia, and the spider book in their gift shop. I decided it just wasn't worth the argument. The rest of the Denver Butterfly Pavilion was wonderful though, it has the largest and most beautiful variety of butterflies I've ever seen.

Desk Kitties

I have two desks in my office. One to work at, and one for the cats to sleep under. It works out fairly well, except that they got the one with the heat register underneath.

Resignation

Poor Eliza. She suffers so much at the paws of Romi.

The Best Seat in the House

Been far too long since the kitties have graced my blog.

Mmmm... Brains

This was my first clue that Romi was actually a zombie kitten.

Andromeda Recumbent

Ruth finally convinced me (and by "convinced" I mean wore me down until I realized that her getting her way was inevitable) that we needed a new kitten. Ostensibly Andromeda (or Rommie), is for Sophia--not Ruth. Which is of course true, in exactly the same sense that our fifty-six inch LCD tv is for Ruth and not for me.

Antelope Kid

I took this pic yesterday (6/5/09) it was a beautiful spring day. Today it snowed much of the morning; Montana has to have some of the craziest weather anywhere.

Sunrise Bliss

All cats enjoy the sun, but I think that Eliza just might be the head feline priestess of the Cult of the Sun Goddess. (But hey, at least her religion is better than the Scientologists'.)
