We arrived home from vacation yesterday to be greeted by beautiful spring weather. Spring in Montana has manic tendencies and we can find ourselves in the thick of winter again overnight, so these beautiful days are that much more appreciated due to their mercurial nature.
I took this pic yesterday (6/5/09) it was a beautiful spring day. Today it snowed much of the morning; Montana has to have some of the craziest weather anywhere.
One of the fist of our 2008 calves. As you can see he's an energetic little cuss. Just after this was taken he got confused and thought the pick-up was his mom. He kept trying to poke his head into a wheel-well looking for milk, and wouldn't give up until we drove away and his real mom started mothering him.
