I may as well get it out in the open early on in my blog. My wife and I are Apple whores. Yes, I said it, we are sex workers for Apple [no Computer] Inc. Well, wait, that doesn't sound quite right. Let me rephrase that a little. In the olden days of the 90s we would have been said to "bleed six colors," (after the colors of the Apple logo) but now-a-days I don't know, bleed monochrome?

"Safety" manlift

This a pic of my foot while on the manlift (i.e. muscle powered elevator) in the grain elevator at our ranch.
I love the irony that that rickety old thing has the inscription: Strong-Scott Improved Safety Manlift. I have a feeling I wouldn't want to be using the original model.

front row: my wife Ruth, Wes's wife Wendy, and Wes's and Wendy's daughters Kaitlen and Lauren.

Creek on Granite Loop Trail

This is a creek near the beginning of the Granite Chalet trail in Glacier Nation Park, MT. Just a little farther down this trail is the spot that I proposed to my wife.
